Vineeta Singh Co- founder and CEO of SUGER Cosmetics , All of 23 and fresh out of college, the IIM Ahmedabad graduate had to choose between the comforts of a settled life or the exciting prospects that come with being an entrepreneur.
Turning down a Rs 1 crore pre-placement offer from Deutsche Bank, Vineeta went on to embrace the startup life, setting an example for not only her batchmates but also for an entire generation of entrepreneurs facing a similar dilemma in those days.
She was a super competitive child while growing up. A gold medalist from DPS, RK Puram and Electrical Engineer from IIT Madras. she went on to pursue her masters from IIM Ahmedabad.
The founder has grown to accept failures as a part of the startup journey. “I started up with a vision that I could go from starting up to IPO in 5 years. I have learned the hard way that it takes time to build great companies and if you want to be successful, you need to be ready for the long haul,” she says in her interview .
