Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara; 5 September 1946 – 24 November 1991)was a British singer, songwriter, record producer, and lead vocalist of the rock band "Queen". Born in 1946 in Zanzibar to Parsi-Indian parents, he attended English-style boarding schools in India. The band Queens is popularly Known For it's superhits like BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY , WE WILL ROCK YOU and many more.
Diagnosed in early 1985 with AIDS, Mercury didn’t live long enough for the development of antiretroviral combination treatment that could have saved his life.
He faced not just a deadly disease but vitriolic prejudice against people with HIV and AIDS. The disease captured his Vocals as soon he got affected But his determination to Rock till end never ends.
When South Africa faced Feminine In 1985 , all famous bands came together for a charity Concert named "LIVE AID".
Even after poor immunity and trembled voice , it Turned out to be The best Concert For Queen.
The greatest bands Namely Led zepplin , the Beetles couldn't even stand in front of Freddie that day.
They raised £1 million. It didn't only raise the charity but set up an inspiration how an ill Guy ruled for 20 minutes. Brian May , Roger taylor (still band members) and John deacon have supported Freddy like no one else did. Inspite from the internal bands fight , They treated each other as a family.
Even in 2020 , World powers are working For AIDS vaccine , Back in 80's Freddy was one of the victim without treatment. Whether it be Live aid of 1985 aur Wembley concert of 1986 , Freddy proved that No virus can withstand his path. This day Back in 1991, He found dead in his room ..Later declared to suffered from Pneumonia like fever.
John Deacon left the band as he couldn't stand the sorrows. Brian and Roger are still a part and recently raised a charity for Australia Bushfire.
The MERCURY PHOENIX TRUST was founded by the former band members For the treatment of AIDS patient accross the world. Remembering Freddy today. Such an inspiration.
Freddie sets an example that no obstacle can withstand your path if you have that willingness towards it.
Today, 24th November is his death anniversary!
